Tungsten carbide rods can be manufactured from the process of pressure and extrusion. Before the extrusion process, tungsten carbide powder is firstly mixed with certain quantities of cobalt powder or nickel powder as its binders. And then the mixed powder is put into the extrusion machine. Under the certain pressure, and with the removal of the air, tungsten carbide powder is extruded into tungsten carbide rods through the orifice of specific diameters.
